The evening first began with a comical sketch, titled "The Sin Chair." The people in this skit became prisoners for disobeying the warning about sin. They could not escape, no matter how hard they tried. Neither beauty, nor money, fame, or power can release us from the bondage of sin. Only the grace of God can redeem us. Jesus' blood shed on the cross for us is the only power that can set us free. The comical actors presented this skit with both powerful and graceful charisma.
Worship night featured 5 Jubilee original song with all-new band and string quartet arrangements, written by P. Brian Kim-"Do You Know the Meaning of the Cross," "Look At Us," " Only the Cross," "Cross Till Glory," and "The Rest." Jubilee Orchestra traveled from New York City to cowork with Jubilee Worship. In addition, 24 choir members from Dover offered their voices to God with passion, under the guidance of Dorothy Li and P.Aria. Classical and jazz arrangements of Jubilee songs added new layers of God's grace and worshipful expressions to Him in the Immanuel Chapel.
Jubilee Dance members presented the grand finale with two powerful dance numbers. Guided by dance instructor Angela Cho, 20 dancers filled the stage with elegant movements that expressed to God, "Falling into You" and "I Thank You." That dancers of all levels can use their souls and bodies to worship the Lord is a beautiful testimony to God's all-encompassing love.
All glory to God for uniting His people with His praises. Most importantly, may His name and the knowledge of the Lord be spread through all forms of artistic expressions. May the Gospel reach the ends of the earth by His grace, opens up more ways for people to praise Him, through the service of Jubilee Worship.
