Elim NYC minister, P. Mark Si, shared a brief message on Mark 10. The message informed attendees to worship in the Truth of God, to cry out for God's mercy during prayer time, as did the blind Bartimaeus. Upon the finish of sermon, Jubilee worship band led the congregants in an exhilarating and heartfelt worship session, focusing on the touch and renewal from the Holy Spirit. Congregants lept up to clap and dance in songs like "You are Good" by Israel Houghton and "Every Praise" by Hezekiah Walker, while new songs like "Touch of Heaven" and "Open My Eyes" by Hillsong United introduced the congregants to the deeper presence of God. Members testified to have felt peace and strength in the deeper worship. Praise leaders' sincere sharing of the scripture further enlightened worshipers of the kindness and gentleness of God our Father in His wondrous works. Finally, in the prayer time guided by Elim NYC, the band members also joined congregants in praying to the Lord in repentance and petition.
All thanks to God for showing His favor on Jubilee, Elim, and Immanuel for this graceful praise and prayer event. God also provided the location, musical instruments, and beautiful coworkers in Christ to allow this event to happen. Every moment truly testified of His overflowing grace. Jubilee NYC prays for more opportunities to come, where God's people may continuously reciprocate their gifts and gratitude to God, the giver of everything.
